Dominican trailed 59-52 with 4:14 left in regulation when an 8-0 spurt, ending with Justin Copman (Cumberland, Md.) hitting two free throws, put them ahead 60-59 with just over two minutes left.
In the final 2:06 of play, the game would feature six lead changes. A Felician foul put Daniel Grant (Middletown, N.Y.) on the free throw line with 27 ticks left where he converted both attempts to give DC the 64-63 advantage. The game-winning jumper for the Golden Falcons would come from Dee-End McRae with two seconds on the clock for the 65-64 win.
Jalen Burgess (Springfield Gardens, N.Y.) led the Chargers with 27 points (shooting 10-17 from the floor), four rebounds and two assists.
Shooter Wahaad Johnson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) netted 11 points, while Grant finished with nine points, four rebounds and six assists.
Copman finished with eight points and a team best eight boards.
