CHARGERS UPENDED BY POST UNIVERSITY

After the loss, the Chargers fell to 14-4 (7-3 CACC). The Eagles improve to 14-6 (10-0 CACC) after the win,
The Chargers were led by Wahaad Johnson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) who scored a team-high 14 points. Johnson also added three rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Brandt Roundtree (Plainfield, N.J.) finished with 10 points, three rebounds, two steals, and one assist.
Daniel Grant (Middletown, N.Y.) and Joshua Serrano (Amityville, N.Y.) each scored nine points. Jalen Burgess (Springfield Gardens, N.Y.) added seven points and a team-leading 10 rebounds. Jaden Honis (Bridgewater, N.J.) and Joseph Merrill (Derry, N.H.) each finished with seven points.
Post was led by David Jasson who scored 18 points and recorded 10 rebounds for a double-double. Devonte Mccall also recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Abdul-Basit Ajia added a double-double with 15 points and a team-high 16 rebounds. D.J. Frechette and Tyler Small each added 10 points.
The Eagles led the whole game over DC and started the game off on an 11-2 run. Later in the half, the Eagles would extend to their largest lead of the half which was 12 points by halftime.
DC cut the deficit to eight points but the Eagles would answer back and extend to their largest lead of the game which was 20 points. Post would hold onto the lead and secure the win.
The Chargers will look to bounce back on Saturday, February 5th when they travel to Georgian Court University for a CACC match up with the Lions. The game is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
