MEN'S BASKETBALL HONORS THEIR SENIORS IN LAST HOME GAME

Orangeburg, N.Y. (2/23/16) The Dominican College men's basketball squad honored their four seniors tonight as they played in their final home game of the 2015-2016 season. The Chargers honored seniors: #10 Joe Clinton*, #14 Sean O'Reilly, #24 Glenn Scalia and #55 Will Wise in a ceremony tonight as the team suffered a tough 62-43 loss to the Eagles of Post University in the final Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game of the season.

(2/23/16)  The Dominican College men's basketball squad honored their four seniors tonight as they played in their final home game of the 2015-2016 season.  The Chargers honored seniors: #10 Joe Clinton*, #14 Sean O'Reilly, #24 Glenn Scalia and #55 Will Wise in a ceremony tonight as the team suffered a tough 62-43 loss to the Eagles of Post University in the final Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game of the season.

The team honored the seniors and their parents with a ceremony at mid-court where the players were presented with their framed jersey.

Gerrel Irvin (Bay Shore, N.Y.) came off the bench to record the only double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Wise finished with six points, while Clinton and O'Reilly each had five points, with Clinton adding three assists.

Travis Cook (Middletown, N.Y.) also scored five points, four rebounds and three assists in the loss.

With the loss, Dominican finishes the regular season with an overall record of 10-18 and a CACC record of 9-10.

DC ends the season in fourth place in the North Division and will travel to Holy Family University, who is the top seed in the South Division this coming Saturday in a CACC Tournament Quarterfinal game.  Tip-off is slated for 4:30 pm
