GOLF OPENS SPRING SEASON AT THOMAS JEFFERSON UNIVERSITY SPRING INVITATIONAL
Norristown, Pa. (3/20/26) The Dominican University New York men's golf team opened the spring season at the Thomas Jefferson University Spring Invitational held yesterday and today at Jeffersonville Golf Course.
The Chargers finished in a tie for sixth place with Elizabethtown College as both teams finished with a 620 final score. DUNY shot a team score of 303 on day one and followed with a 317 on the second day. The team had four birdies in the first round and followed with four more in the final round.
Senior Joseph Benesch tied for 13th place with a two-day total of 154. He shot a 73 in the first round and followed with an 81 on day two.
