GOLF SEASON COMES TO AN END AT THE NCAA ATLANTIC/EAST REGIONAL TOURNAMENT
Erie, Pa. (5/10/25) The Dominican University New York men's golf team completed play at the 2025 NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Tournament today with a third round score of 315.
The Chargers finished the three-day regional, hosted by Gannon University at Whispering Woods Golf Course, with a total score of 970 after compiling scores of 329-326-315 to finish 19th among the 20 competing teams.
Alexander Lundvall had his best round of the tournament today, finishing round three with a 71 score to be one shot under-par. He finished the tournament tied for 24th place with a 228 total score. Lundvall compiled scores of 80-77-71 and had six birdies throughout the regional.
Nicolas Arrieta-Guerra tied for 83rd place with rounds of 91-81-77 for a 249 total score and had five birdies. Brikke Decoster took 90th place with a 252 total score (86-85-81) and six birdies, while Joseph Benesch finished in 94th place with scores of 86-83-86.
Sophomore Bruno Pardo took part in the first and second rounds where she shot a 77 and an 85 for a 162 total score and tied for 103rd place. Giacomo Moltedo completed in the final round and shot an 89 to finish in 114th place.
Davis & Elkins, Gannon University and the University of Charleston (WV) all advance to the NCAA Championships, while an individual from St. Thomas Aquinas College and Millersville University also advance to the National Tournament.
