GOMEZ CERVANTES AND LUNDVALL COMPLETE PLAY AT NCAA ATLANTIC/EAST SUPER REGIONAL TOURNAMENT

Victor, N.Y. (5/7/22) Dominican College golfers, Alejandro Gomez Cervantes and Alexander Lundvall, finished up play today at the 2022 NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament, hosted by Le Moyne College at Ravenwood Golf Club.

Victor, N.Y. (5/7/22) Dominican College golfers, Alejandro Gomez Cervantes and Alexander Lundvall, finished up play today at the 2022 NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament, hosted by Le Moyne College at Ravenwood Golf Club.

Gomez Cervantes (Torreon, Mexico) shot a 76 (+4) in the final round for a three-day total of 223 (72 , 75, 76) and tied for 14th place.  He had one birdie in the final round on hole 13 and shot for par on 13 of the 18 holes.

Lundvall (Stockholm, Sweden) tied for 78th place with a three-day total of 233 (74,81, 78).  He had an eagle on hole seven and a birdie on hole nine.  Lundvall shot for par on eight of the 18 holes.

The tournament featured 108 participants on the 7,083-yard, par-72 layout with 20 teams and eight individuals competing.  The top three teams and top two student-athletes not with a team advance to the NCAA Finals at TPC Michigan in Detroit, Michigan.
