GOLF COMPLETES DAY ONE OF NCAA ATLANTIC/EAST SUPER REGIONAL PLAY

North East, Pa. (5/6/21) The Dominican College men's golf team completed round one of the 2021 NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament being held at Lake View Country Club and hosted by Mercyhurst University.

North East, Pa. (5/6/21) The Dominican College men's golf team completed round one of the 2021 NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament being held at Lake View Country Club and hosted by Mercyhurst University.

Dominican finished day one with a team score of 326 to be in 16th place overall.

Freshman Alejandro Gomez Cervantes (Torreon, Mexico) had a first round score of 78 (+6) to be in a tie for 32nd place.  He had two birdies on the day on hole one and 13.

Alexander Lundvall (Stockholm, Sweden) and Nicholas Arrieta (Bucaramanga, Colombia) are both tied for 59th place after the first round with a score of 82 (+10).  Lundvall had a birdie on hole 13, while Arrieta had a birdie on hole 17.

Juan David Fajardo (Bogota, Colombia) is tied for 73rd place with a score of 84 (+12), while Daniel Acosta Murguia (Torreon, Mexico) shot an 87 (+15) today to be tied for 82nd place.  He also had a birdie on the first hole.

The Chargers return to action tomorrow beginning at 10:40 am for round two of the 2021 NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional Tournament.
