DOMINICAN'S PROKOP FINISHES IN TOP 35 AT NCAA ATLANTIC/EAST REGIONAL
Wheeling, W.V. (5/8/13) Dominican College golfer, Keith Prokop, completed play at the 2013 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Atlantic/East Regional today placing in a tie for 34th place out of 108 golfers.

In third round action today, Prokop had his best day of golf, shooting a 75 (+4) in the par 71 course at the Olgebay Resort.
Previously, he had rounds of 78 and 77 for a three-day combined score of 230 (+17). The final score put him in a four-way tie for 34th place.
The top three teams; Indiana University of Pennsylvania, fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) member Wilmington University and California University of Pennsylvania advance to the NCAA National Golf Championship, along with the top two individual players; Sebastian Bendsen of Davis and Elkins College and Rob Coyne of Millersville University.
Prokop was one of three individuals from the East Region to qualify for NCAA Regional Tournament. He was ranked as the #2 individual player in the NCAA East Region and completed his best season at Dominican finishing as the team's leading scorer and establishing a team record by posting scores in the 70's for all 20 of his regular season tournament rounds. He was also recently named to the 2013 All-CACC Team.
This was his first NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Tournament appearance.
