CHARGERS GOLF FINISH IN FIFTH PLACE AT 6TH ANNUAL CHARGER CHALLENGE
Suffern, N.Y. (10/8/12) The Dominican College golf team finished in fifth place at the 6th Annual Charger Challenge which finished play this afternoon at the Spook Rock Golf Course. The Chargers had a two-day combined score of 640 (318, 322) to finish behind St. Thomas Aquinas College (603), Concordia College (608), Nyack College (623) and Le Moyne College (628).

The University of Massachusetts-Lowell finished in sixth place with a score of 641, followed by Felician College (652), College of Saint Rose (653), Chestnut Hill College (687) and Holy Family University (672).
Sophomore Eric Reiher (Milford, Pa.) finished in a two-way tie for ninth place with a combined score of 152 (79, 73) to be the top finisher for the Chargers.
Keith Prokop (Ramsey, N.J.) tied for 16th place with rounds of 78 and 79 for a 157 total score. Anthony Schifano (Ramsey, N.J.) had scores of 82 and 83 for a combined 165 score.
Freshman Brian McGuigan (Hawthorne, N.J.) finished in 32nd place after having a day one score of 79 and followed with an 87 today for a 166 score.
Michael Morton (Hawthorne, N.J.) scored rounds of 84 on each day for a 168 score and a tie for 35th place.
Junior Carlos Fonacier (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) finished in a two-way tie for 40th place with a total score of 170 (83, 87).
Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, N.J.) took 48th place with a combined score of 179 (92, 87)
