CHARGERS GOLF FINISH PLAY AT DOWLING COLLEGE SEPTEMBER-SHOOTOUT

Riverhead, N.Y. (9/22/12) The Dominican College golf team finished in 14th place at the Dowling College September Shoot-Out held yesterday and today at the Long Island National Golf Course. Host, Dowling College, took home the team title with Adelphi University, Post University, Concordia College and Farmingdale State College rounding out the top five teams.

(9/22/12)  The Dominican College golf team finished in 14th place at the Dowling College September Shoot-Out held yesterday and today at the Long Island National Golf Course.  Host, Dowling College, took home the team title with Adelphi University, Post University, Concordia College and Farmingdale State College rounding out the top five teams.

Keith Prokop (Ramsey. N.J.) was the top finisher for the Chargers with rounds of 71 and 79 for a combined score of 150.

Sophomore Eric Reiher (Milford, Pa.) followed with a total score of 162 (79,83), while Carlos Fonacier (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) shot rounds of 92 and 83 for a 175 total score.

Freshman Brian McGuigan (Hawthorne, N.J.) finished with a combined score of 177 with rounds of 88 and 89.

Michael Morton (Hawthorne, N.J.) rounded out the scoring with scores of 92 and 99 for a total score of 191.

The Chargers are back on the course next weekend at the Nyack College Tournament.
