GOLF FINISHES IN SEVENTH PLACE AT NEIGC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Berlin, Conn. (9/17/12) The Dominican College golf team finished in seventh place at the Northeast Intercollegiate Golf Championships (NEIGC) played at the Timberlin Country Club. The Chargers shot a combined score of 636 (321 and 315) to finish in seventh place out of the 10 competing schools.

Sophomore Eric Reiher (Milford, Pa.) was the top finisher for the Chargers as he tied for sixth place with a combined score of 153 (78, 75).
Keith Prokop (Ramsey, N.J.) tied for 18th place shooting a 79 in both rounds for a 158 total score.
Rookie Brian McGuigan (Hawthorne, N.J.) had rounds of 81 and 80 to finish in a tie for 26th place with a final score of 161.
Anthony Schifano (Ramsey, N.J.) tied for 37th place with a total score of 165 (83, 82) and senior Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, N.J.) finished in 47th place with a total score of 171 (90, 81).
DC is back in action on Friday at the Dowling September Shootout.
