GOLF FINISHES IN TIE FOR THIRTEENTH PLACE AT RIVER HAWK INVIATIONAL

Dracut, MA (4/18/10) The Dominican College golf team finished in a two-way tie for thirteenth place at the River Hawk Invitational hosted by the University of Massachusetts-Lowell yesterday and today at the Mountain Creek Golf Course.

Dracut, MA (4/18/10)  The Dominican College golf team finished in a two-way tie for thirteenth place at the River Hawk Invitational hosted by the University of Massachusetts-Lowell yesterday and today at the Mountain Creek Golf Course.

The Chargers shot a team score of 335 on day one and a 341 on day two for a combined final score of 676 to tie Assumption College for 13th place.  Bryant University took home the team title.

Senior Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) was the top finisher for Dominican with a two-day total of 162 (77, 85) to finish in a six-way tie for 29th place.  Freshman Lewis Morse (Aurora, NY) finished in a four-way tie for 37th place with a combined score of 164 (80, 84).

Freshman Michael Ciabattari (New Hampton, NY) shot rounds of 88 and 83 for a combined score of 171 and finish in a two-way tie for 52nd place.  Teammate Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, NJ) finished in 61st place with a 179 two-day total.  Sophomore Bryan Romagnoli (Waldwick, NJ) shot a combined score of 186 to finish in a tie-way tie for 69th place.
