GOLF FINISHES SEVENTH AT 2008 CHARGER CHALLENGE
Orangeburg, NY (10/14/08) The Dominican College men's golf team finished seventh in their only home contest of the season as the 2008 Charger Challenge wrapped up yesterday at the Spook Rock Golf Course.

Adelphi University took the team title with a combined score of 592 (+16). St. Thomas Aquinas College finished in second with a team score of 606 (+30), followed by Goldey Beacom College 615 (+39), Dowling College 623 (+47), American International College 624 (+48), Pace University 625 (+49) and host Dominican College 626 (+50). Wilmington University finished in eighth place with a score of 638, Nyack in ninth 657, Caldwell in tenth 670 and Felician finished in eleventh place with a score of 688.
Senior AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) was the top finisher for Dominican with a two day total of 150 (+6) to finish in a four-way tie for fifth place. Sophomore Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) tied for 23rd place with rounds of 82 and 75 for a total 157 score.
Thomas Lalonde (Red Hook, NY) tied for 26th place with a 159 score (85, 74). Freshman John Murphy III (South Windsor, CT) rounded out the top 30 with a combined score of 160 (80, 80) and Corey Fitzgerald (Sherburne, NY) finished in 49th place with a score of 176 (87, 89).
This was the last match of the fall season for the Chargers and they will return to the course in the spring.
