DIAZ, HIRSCH AND ROSARIO EARN NCBWA ALL-EAST REGION HONORS

Orangeburg, N.Y. (5/15/26)  Three members of the Dominican University New York baseball team were named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-East Region Teams as was announced today.

Outfielder Erick Diaz was named to the First Team for the second staight year, while Kevin Hirsch and Fraelyn Rosario received Second Team Honors.

Diaz hit .379 with 17 homers (a single season program record) with 48 RBIs, 52 runs scored, and 21 stolen bases. He was named to the All-CACC First Team for the second straight season.

Hirsch hit .365 for the Chargers with 14 homers, 56 RBIs, and scored 38 runs on the season.  He was named to the All-CACC First TEam for the second straight year.

Rosario hit .342 with four homers and 42 RBI's while scoring 36 runs and stealing five bases. Rosario was named CACC Player of the Week and NCBWA East Region Hitter of the Week one time each.  He was previously named to the All-CACC First Team.

They are three of the 10 players from the CACC to be named to the NCBWA All-East Region Teams.
