DOMINICAN'S FALCON SELECTED REGIONAL HITTER OF THE WEEK

Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/19/26) Dominican University New York junior Chad Falcon has been named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Division II East Region Hitter of the Week for the period ending Mar. 15, the NCBWA announced on Wednesday. He was also chosen as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week on Mar. 16.
Falcon hit .560 and slugged 1.280 as Dominican went 3-3 last week. He had nine extra-base hits, including four home runs, scored 15 runs, and drove in 11. He homered during all three games of a weekend series with Chestnut Hill College.
Falcon is the fourth consecutive player from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference to earn the NCBWA D-II East Region Hitter of the Week Award. In 14 games this season, he is batting .465 with five home runs, 20 runs scored, and 17 RBI for the 8-10 Chargers.
The NCAA Division II East Region is comprised of the CACC, East Coast Conference, and Northeast 10 Conference and contains 28 baseball-playing schools.
