BASEBALL LOSES TO FELICIAN COLLEGE

Lyndhurst, N.J. (5/1/14) The Dominican College baseball team fell in non-conference action this afternoon to host, Felician College, 7-1, in a game played at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.

Lyndhurst, N.J. (5/1/14)  The Dominican College baseball team fell in non-conference action this afternoon to host, Felician College, 7-1, in a game played at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.

With the loss, Dominican falls to 19-22 on the season.

FC scored four runs in the fourth inning to go ahead 4-0.  DC scored their lone run of the game in the top of the sixth inning on the RBI single to cente field from Leonardo Bravo (Bronx, N.Y.) to bring home Jonathan Martinez (Mastic Beach, N.Y.).

The Golden Falcons added two runs in the bottom half of the sixth and one more in the eighth for the final 7-1 score.

Peter Martinez (White Plains, N.Y.) took the loss (4-4) in two innings of relief, allowing four runs on five hits.

Dominican is scheduled to be in action tomorrow as they host the University of Bridgeport in a non-conference game to be played at 7pm at Provident Bank Park.
