CHARGERS WIN IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION

Pomona, N.Y. (4/25/14) The Dominican College baseball team defeated Caldwell College, 11-8, in non-conference action played today at Provident Bank Park.

Pomona, N.Y. (4/25/14)  The Dominican College baseball team defeated Caldwell College, 11-8, in non-conference action played today at Provident Bank Park.

Dominican collected 15 hits in the victory and scored runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings en route to the 11-8 win.

Designated hitter Tyler Clark (Cheshire, Conn.) went 3-5 in the game, with two RBIs.

Carlos Lopez (Miami, Fla.), Leonardo Bravo (Bronx, N.Y.) and Jayson Gray (New Rochelle, N.Y.) all collected two hits a-piece in the win.

Lopez and Donald Crispyn (Freeport, N.Y.) both had two RBIs.

Reliever Andrew Morano (Clintondale, N.Y.) picked up the win in 2 2/3 innings of relief.

Andrew Denis (Miramar, Fla.) earned his first save of the season in 3 1/3 innings pitched.

The Chargers return to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action tomorrow as they travel to Wilmington University.
