Dominican scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning as Xavier Bonilla (Bronx, NY) was hit by-a-pitch with the bases loaded to bring home a run and Christopher Gonzalez (Bronx, NY) followed with an RBI sacrifice fly ball to center field.
The Chargers added to the lead with a four-run fourth inning as Tyler Sadawske* (Waukesha, WI) hit a two-run single to left field and outfielder Tony Blake (Windsor, CT) followed with an RBI double to centerfield. Andrew Camaradella (Pelham, NY) then followed with a double of his run to plate a run and extend the lead to 6-0.
DC added a run in the sixth on a Knight error for a 7-0 lead. QC had a three-run eighth inning for the final 7-3 score.
Anthony Pastrana (Queens, NY) improved to 2-4 overall in six innings of work, scattering three hits and four strikeouts.
Jordan Paszek (Sussex, WI) went two innings and allowed three runs on three hits, while Nicholas Kevlin (Conway, NH) came in to pitch the ninth and recorded two strikeouts.
Sadawske and Camaradella each had two RBIs in the win.
The Chargers are back in action tomorrow as they travel to Bloomfield College for a non-conference game.
