Hartford, Conn. (10/5/25)  The Dominican University New York men's rowing team opened up the Fall 2025 season at the Head of the Riverfront Regatta held today on the Connecticut River.

Freshman Sebastian Edmonds won the Men's Open Novice 4+ race with a time of 14:18.419.

Junior Dante Galisteo took second place in the Men's Open 1x race with a time of 15:22.734.

Alex Castillo competed in the Men's Open 2x Race and finished in second place with a time of 14:04.864.

In the Men's Open 4x race Castillo finished in fourth place with a time of 13:46.551, while Mekhi Hillaire took fifth place with a time of 14:05.429.

The Chargers are back in action next weekend at the Head of the Passaic Regatta.
