Cherry Hill, N.J. (4/12/26)  The Dominican University New York men's rowing club opened up the spring season at The Knecht Cup held today on Cooper River.

Freshman Sebastian Edmonds took second place in the men's single with a time of 9:30.180.

In the men's double finals, Edmonds took sixth place with a time of 9:02.680.  In a qualifying race, Sean Cruz finished with a time of 7:53.180 to take third place in the heat.

The team of Cruz, Edmonds, Carlos Enamorado and Jonathan Benissan competed in the men's varsity quad race and finished in third place with a time of 7:14.390.

The team returns to action next weekend at the New York State Collegiate Championships.
