COLLEGE OF ST. ROSE GOLDEN KNIGHTS DEFEAT LADY CHARGERS VOLLEYBALL

Albany, NY (9/9/08) The College of St. Rose women's volleyball team defeated the visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers, 3-0 (25-5, 25-13, 25-14) this evening in a non-conference set at Nolan Gym.

Albany, NY (9/9/08)  The College of St. Rose women's volleyball team defeated the visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers, 3-0 (25-5, 25-13, 25-14) this evening in a non-conference set at Nolan Gym.

With the win the Golden Knights improve to 4-2 on the season, while the Lady Chargers fall to 0-3.

Marilyn Glamack led all attackers with 12 kills, while Jaclyn Griffin and Kelly Ryan added six kills a piece in the victory.  Theresa Staulo led the team with 14 assists and Emily Collen added 10 assists. 

Senior Theresa Hanneman (Pearl River, NY) led the Lady Chargers with four kills and nine digs.  Setter Kaitlin Earl (Greenville, NY) added seven assists in the loss.

Dominican is back in action on Saturday when they open up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play as they host Goldey-Beacom College on Coach Baxter Court.  Game time is set for 12pm.
