Dominican scored the first goal of the game in the first half, as Alan Heavey (Huntington Station, NY) took a corner kick, and served the ball into the box. Matthew Shutter (Alpine, NJ) headed the ball past Mercy keeper for the 1-0 lead.
Mercy tied the game with a goal in the 82nd minute of play to force the overtime.
Rodier netted the game winner winner, converting the penalty kick just ninety seconds into the overtime period.
Charger keeper Brandon Heembrock (Ottawa, Canada) six saves in the victory.
With the win Dominican improves to 11-3-2 overall.
