GOLF FINISHES ROUND ONE PLAY AT DOWLING COLLEGE SEPTEMBER SHOOT-OUT

Riverhead, N.Y. (9/21/12) The Dominican College golf team completed first round play of the Dowling College September Shoot-Out with a combined score of 330 to be in a tie for 14th place in the 17 team tournament. The tournament is taking place at the Long Island National Golf Course where the team leader after round one is Adelphi University.

(9/21/12)  The Dominican College golf team completed first round play of the Dowling College September Shoot-Out with a combined score of 330 to be in a tie for 14th place in the 17 team tournament.  The tournament is taking place at the Long Island National Golf Course where the team leader after round one is Adelphi University.

Keith Prokop (Ramsey, N.J.) led the team with a first round score of 71.

Sophomore Eric Reiher (Milford, Pa.) shot a first round score of 79, while Brian McGuigan (Hawthorne, N.J.) finished the round with an 88.

Carlos Fonacier (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) and Michael Morton (Hawthorne, N.J.) each had rounds of 92.

The Chargers are back in action at the tournament tomorrow.
