CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES FOURTH AT CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Philadelphia, Pa. (10/21/12) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished fourth today at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Cross Country Championships held at Belmont Plateau. Philadelphia University took home the team title as Georgian Court University finished second, University of the Sciences third and Dominican College in fourth place.

Freshman Carolina Cassin Silva (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers with a time of 20:41 to finish in seventh place and earn All-CACC recognition.
Krystal Campbell (New Windsor, N.Y.) finished in 16th place with a time of 21:24, while Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) ran a time of 21:40 to finish in 19th place.
Sophomore Renee Roncace (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) took 25th place with a time of 22:03 and Ashley Ramdin (Cliffside Park, N.J.) finished in 31st place with a time of 22:41.
Seniors Ashley Hodges (Bronx, N.Y.) and Sharrika Brent (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished in 79th and 80th place with times of 30:18 and 30:57.
As a team the Lady Chargers finished with a team score of 98 points.
