Orangeburg, NY (10/19/08)  The Dominican College women's cross country team finished ninth overall at the St. John's Fall Festial which was held at Cunningham Park.

Out of ten total teams, made up of all NCAA Divisons, the Lady Chargers finished in ninth place and was third among Division II teams.

Freshman Alycia Shillingford was the top finisher for Dominican with a time of18:28.  Maryann Eaton ran the race in a time of 18:52, followed by freshman Ashley Martinez with a time of 18:59.

Senior Sarah Beck and junior Kelly Rehm rounded out the scoring for DC with times of 20:14 and 21:00.

Dominican is back in action next weekend at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships to be held at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, PA and co-hosted by the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Philadelphia University.
