Philadelphia, PA (9/27/08)  The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in 14th place at the Belmont Classic which took place this afternoon in Philadelphia, PA.

Alycia Shillingford was the top finisher for DC with a time of 22:48 for a 43rd place finish.  Kaitlin Lent finished in 25:00 for 92nd place, while Maryanne Eaton ran a time of 25:29.

Megan Murphy was the fourth finisher for the Lady Chargers with a time of 25:58 and Jasmine Schinella had a time of 25:59.  Jamie Woyce rounded out the scoring for Dominican with a time of 26:27.

The cross country team is back in action next Sunday at the Lehman Lightning Invitational being held at Van Cortland Park.
