Rutherford, N.J. (9/25/18) The Felician University women's volleyball team rallied from a 25-20 set one loss to win the next three and earn the 3-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory this evening in a match held in Job Gymnasium.

Following the set one win, The Golden Falcons won the next three by scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-23 to earn the 3-1 match victory.

The set was tied at 20-all when a service error and consecutive kills from Emmalyn LaPier (Endicott, N.Y.) and Mykalee Chambers (Bronx, N.Y.) put DC ahead 23-20.  Back-to-back errors allowed the Chargers to take the 25-20 win.

After two Felician set victories, the fourth set saw Felician pull ahead 7-2.  Dominican would fight back and use a kill from Chambers to tie the set at 23-all.  Two straight Felician points lifted them to the 25-23 set win and 3-1 match victory.

LaPier and junior Deanna Knopf (Hauppauge, N.Y.) led Dominican with 11 kills each in the loss.

Setter Lily Ainsworth (Colorado Springs, Colo.) had a team high 26 assist, while Natalia Perez (Prosper, Texas) recorded 19 digs.

Knopf tallied 11 digs and LaPier finished with 10 digs.

DC returns home from their two match road trip this coming Friday as they host Wilmington University at 5pm on Coach Baxter Court.
