LADY CHARGERS SOCCER EDGES FELICIAN COLLEGE

Lyndhurst, NJ (10/20/10) The Dominican College women's soccer team edged host, Felician College, 3-2 this evening in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) soccer action at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex. With the victory Dominican improves to 8-5 overall and 5-4 in conference play.

Lyndhurst, NJ (10/20/10)  The Dominican College women's soccer team edged host, Felician College, 3-2 this evening in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) soccer action at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.  With the victory Dominican improves to 8-5 overall and 5-4 in conference play.

Dominican netted the game's first three goals.  The first goal game at 4:02 as freshman forward Olivia Antonopoulos (Baldwin, NY) recorded her ninth goal of the season on a shot from the right side after the pass from Jodi Curtis (Palmerston, New Zealand).

Ten minutes later freshman Jamilyn Snyder (Lacey, NJ) scored a goal off the assist from senior Kristen Haycook (Point Pleasant, NJ) to put DC ahead 2-0.

 Jade Fletcher (Ottawa, Canada) netted her first goal of the season on a header after the corner kick from Snyder  at the 45:51 mark to extend the lead to 3-0.  The Golden Falcons netted the game's final two goals of the game for the final 3-2 score.

The Lady Chargers outshot Felician, 19-17 and held a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Lady Charger goalie Kari Spicer (Littleton, CO) made seven saves in the victory.

Dominican is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Philadelphia University for a CACC contest scheduled for 2:30 pm.
