BAUCKMAN LEADS RAMS OVER LADY CHARGERS SOCCER, 1-0

Blauvelt, NY (9/22/07) Junior Christy Bauckman’s (Silver Spring, MD) lone goal early in the game lifted the visiting Rams of Philadelphia University to victory over the Dominican College Lady Chargers, 1-0 this afternoon at the DC Soccer Field in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women’s soccer action.

Blauvelt, NY (9/22/07)  Junior Christy Bauckman's (Silver Spring, MD) lone goal early in the game lifted the visiting Rams of Philadelphia University to victory over the Dominican College Lady Chargers, 1-0 this afternoon at the DC Soccer Field in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's soccer action.

Just one minute and thirty seconds into the game, Bauckman stood in front of the goal and received the ball as it ricochet off the cross bar and put it past a diving DC keeper for the 1-0 victory.

The Rams out shot the Lady Chargers, 11-7.

Rams keeper Sara Hall (Newark, DE) had four saves in the win, while DC keeper Rosa Centurion (Mamaroneck, NY) had five saves.

With the loss, the Lady Chargers fall to 3-7-0 overall and 1-2 in the CACC.  The Rams improve to 5-3-0 and 3-0 in the CACC.

The Lady Chargers are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Post University for a CACC game.  Game time is 4pm.
