In their second year of CACC competition, the Chargers are looking to build on a promising inaugural season and realize new successes this spring.
This season's defensive effort will be led by three seniors; Megan Bryant, Amanda Miller and Nikkia Greczynski. With experience on their side, these veterans will enhance the efforts of senior goalkeeper, Lindsey Grundfast. Moving up the field, juniors Amanda Matos, Silje Karlsen and captain Sarah Kiernan are gearing up for another exciting year on both ends of the field. Joining them is freshman Liz Schmidt, who will be making a major impact on the midfield, using her speed to create opportunities and bringing some fresh energy to the team.
The Chargers are anticipating a lot of change on the offensive end. Transfer Kim Nunez and freshmen Brianna Blank and Michelle Fiorvanti will join sophomore Aubree Williams to create an outstanding attack combination up front.
With veteran experience and fresh talent creating a favorable blend, the Chargers are looking forward to a thrilling season of fulfilling goals and surpassing expectations.
