New Haven, Conn. (12/29/16)  The Southern Connecticut State University Owls downed the visiting lady Chargers of Dominican College, 79-36, this afternoon in a non-conference game played at the Moore Field House.

Senior forward Lisa Bouffard (Wallkill, N.Y.) netted eight points and five rebounds in the loss.

Rebecca Rabeiro (Midland Park, N.J.) also scored eight points and three steals.  Jasmine Gee (Englewood, N.J.) grabbed a team leading six rebounds.

Sara Ismail (Clifton, N.J.) and Alpreshia Parker (Pocono Summit, Pa.) came off the bench to net six points each, while Parker added five rebounds in the loss.

Dominican (1-11) went 9-10 (90%) from the foul line in the game.

The Lady Chargers will take on non-conference opponent, Adelphi University, tomorrow afternoon in the Hennessy Center.  Game time is slated for 2pm on Coach Baxter Court.
