Orangeburg, NY (9/7/11)  The Dominican College men and women's basketball teams have announced the release of their schedules for the upcoming 2011-2012 season.  Both teams will begin the season on the road as the Chargers will travel to Pace University for a tournament and the women will take on Dowling College.

The men will take on non-conference opponents, Assumption College and host Pace University on November 11th and 12th at the Pace University Tournament.

The Chargers will then return home for their first of two tournaments that they will host on November 18th and 19th in the Dominican College Tip-Off Tournament.  The team will face Molloy College and St. Thomas Aquinas College in the tournament.  Dominican will open up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play with a home game against Caldwell College on November 30th.

DC will also host the 6th Annual James Clancy Tournament on January 2nd and 3rd, 2012 as they square off against Dowling College and Queens College.  The 25th Annual Bobby Mulligan Memorial Basketball Game will take place on February 11th and Senior Night will be held on February 22nd.

The women start their campaign on November 15th against Dowling College and then will travel to the 2011 Doubletree Tip-Off Classic which will be hosted by Saint Michael's College.  The Lady Chargers will face Saint Anselm College on November 19th and take on the host on November 20th.

Their first CACC contest will also be their home opener against the Cougars of Caldwell College on November 30th.  The 11th Annual Sue Heller Memorial Basketball Game will take place on February 11th and Senior Night will be on February 22nd.
