Dominican Lady Chargers Stay Undefeated With Victory Over Nyack Warriors
Blauvelt, NY (11/30/06) Dominican College improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) with a big 93-40 victory over visiting Nyack College Warriors this evening on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.

Dominican went on a 23-0 run with 9:09 left in the first half improving a 25-15 lead to a 48-15 lead with 4:01 in the half. Freshman Adele Laskowski (Wayne, NJ) and junior Dana Rotio (Garfield, NJ) each had 13 points in the first half and a combined 5 steals. Jackie Tracey-Spitaleri (Bronx, NY) netted four points, four rebounds and six assists, while sister Kristen Tracey (Bronx, NY) added nine points. DC shot 54.1% from the floor and 54.5% from the three point arc (6-11) in the first half.
Nyack had a rough first half, shooting 25% from the floor (5-20) and 16.7% from beyond the arc (1-6). Christy Porter (Highland, N) led the way with five points.
Dominican continued to dominate the second half, taking a commanding 56 point lead with 10:19 remaining in the game. The Lady Chargers shot 53.1% from the floor for the game, while Nyack shot 23.4% from the floor.
The Lady Chargers were led by Rotio with 17 points and three steals. Laskowski finished with 15 points, while sophomore Shalissa Burgess (Englewood, NJ) had the game's only double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Tracey-Spitaleri finished with nine points and seven assists.
The Warriors were led by Porter with 10 points. Freshman Kelsey McIntosh (North Pole, AK) and Tamyra Lathon (Temple Hills, MD) added eight points in the loss.
Dominican is back in action on Saturday when the travel to Goldey-Beacom College in CACC action. Game time is 1pm in Delaware.
