Bethlehem, Pa. (4/28/18) The Dominican College men's track and field team traveled to the Lehigh Games held today and hosted by Lehigh University.
Junior Michael Merced (Pearl River, N.Y.) won the 400m dash with a time of 48.45. Jaylen Cruz (Middletown, N.Y.) finished in ninth place with a time of 52.37 and Rollens Florvil (Spring Valley, N.Y.) ran a time of 54.46 to finish in 18th place.
Merced took second place in the 200m dash with a time of 22.50. Dylan Roadarmel (New City, N.Y.) finished in 19th place with a time of 25.36.
In the 100m dash, Pierre took sixth place with a time of 11.48. Maye and Roadarmel finished in 14th and 15th place with times of 12.00 and 12.04.
Freshman Ryan McKivergan (New City, N.Y.) took part in the 400m hurdles where he placed 10th with a time of 1:04.14.
Connor Croke (Watertown, Conn.) placed 10th in the javelin throw with a throw of 29.86m (97 feet, 11 inches).
Maye took fifth place in the triple jump with a jump of 13.14m (43 feet, 1 1/2 inches), while Justin Estevez (Nanuet, N.Y.) took seventh place with a jump of 12.36m (40 feet, 6 3/4 inches).
Sophomore George Psarakis (Mornoe, N.Y.) finished in 21st place in the shot put event with a throw of 10.05m (32 feet, 1 3/4 inches) and finsiehd 27th in the discus throw with a throw of 29.62m (97 feet, 2 inches).
