CHARGERS ATTEND ALL-AMERICAN MEET

East Stroudsburg, Pa. (4/23/17)  The Dominican College men's track and field team attended the All-American Meet hosted by East Stroudsburg University yesterday.

Seth Wilson (Monroe, N.Y.) won the 100m dash with a time of 10.75.  He placed second in the 200m dash with a time of 21.78.

Andrew Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) took ninth place with a time of 11.40, while Dylan Roadarmel (New City, N.Y.) finished in 26th place with a time of 11.92.  Elijah Castro (Bergenfield, N.J.) ran a time of 12.02 to finish in 30th place.  Pierre took 18th place in the 200m dash with a time of 23.58 and Roadarmel finished in 39th place with a time of 25.46.

Sophomore Michael Merced (Pearl River, N.Y.) finished fourth in the 400m dash with a time of 50.14.  Rollens Florvil (Spring Valley, N.Y.) took 22nd place with a time of 53.68.

The 4x100m relay team of Castro, Pierre, Roadarmel and Wilson took fifth place with a time of 44.54.

Jovan Zigic (Burnaby, British Columbia) competed in the 1500m run where she took 29th place with a time of 4:31.27.

In the 800m run, junior Adam Klein (Nanuet, N.Y.) finished in 41st place with a time of 2:12.34.

George Psarakis (Monroe, N.Y.) competed in the javelin throw where he took 30th place with a throw of 25.81m (84 feet, 8 inches).  Psarakis finished 26th in the discus throw with a throw of 25.69m (84 feet, 3 inches).  He took 20th place in the shot put with a throw of 10.64m (34 feet, 11 inches).

Freshman Justin Estevez (Nanuet, N.Y.) took 15th place in the long jump with a jump of 5.97m (19 feet, 7 inches).

Pierre took part in the high jump where he finished in 12th place with a jump of 1.65m (5 feet, 5 inches).
