(9/29/12) Senior midfielder Pedro De Araujo (Campinas-SP, Brazil) netted the game winning goal in the 95th minute of action to lead the visiting Chargers of Dominican College over Holy Family University, 3-2, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at Tiger Field.

(9/29/12) Senior midfielder Pedro De Araujo (Campinas-SP, Brazil) netted the game winning goal in the 95th minute of action to lead the visiting Chargers of Dominican College over Holy Family University, 3-2, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at Tiger Field.
With the win, Dominican improves to 5-2-1 overall and 4-1 in conference play.
The Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute of the game and held the lead until the 27:38 mark when Araujo scored his first goal of the season off the assist from Jorge Zubillaga (Punta del Este, Uruguay).
Less than a minute later Sony Narro (Stamford, Conn.) put Dominican ahead 2-1 with his team leading fifth goal of the season off the pass from Brandon Medina (Rockaway, N.J.).
A Tiger goal in the 69th minute tied the game at 2-2 and forced the overtime period.
The game winner came of a corner kick for the Chargers as Christopher Walsh (Baldwin, N.Y.) got the assist as Araujo headed the ball into the net at the 95:53 mark for the 3-2 victory.
Charger goalie Andres Ruiz (Medellin, Colombia) made five saves in the victory.
Dominican held a 19-14 advantage in shots and a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Dominican is back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Caldwell College in a CACC game.
