# 18 MEN'S SOCCER FALL TO # 14 WILMINGTON UNIVERSITY

New Castle, DE (10/22/09)  The Dominican College men's soccer team, ranked 18th nationally in the latest NSCAA/Adidas Poll, fell to # 14 Wilmington University, 2-0 this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.

Wilmington netted both goals off the foot of Sargbah Tarpeh in the victory.  The first came at 44:27 off a corner kick and the second was 78:30 as he converted a penalty kick.

Both teams had 15 shots a piece in the game, while the 'Cats had an 11-6 advantage in corner kicks.

Charger keeper Brandon Heembrock (Ottawa, Canada) made five saves in the loss.

With the loss Dominican falls to 11-2-2 overall and 6-2-1 in the CACC.

DC is back in action on Saturday when they take on Phildelphia University at 3pm at Tappan Zee High School.
