Ettiene leads Franklin Pierce Over Dominican

Connecticut (8/27/06) Bisharra Ettine scored the games only goal on an assist from Brendan McMahon to lead Franklin Pierce over Dominican College 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Jess Dow Field on the Southern Connecticut State University campus. The goal was Ettienne’s second of the year.

Connecticut (8/27/06)  Bisharra Ettine scored the games only goal on an assist from Brendan McMahon to lead Franklin Pierce over Dominican College 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Jess Dow Field on the Southern Connecticut State University campus.  The goal was Ettienne’s second of the year.

Dominican goal keeper Robert Kelly (Kearny, NJ)  made four saves in the loss while Franklin Pierce keeper James Thorpe finished the game with six saves.

The match proved to be a physical one as it featured 48 combined fouls and four yellow cards.

Franklin Pierce improves to 2-0-0 on the season while Dominican drops to 0-1-1.
