DOMINICAN'S RYAN CLANCY NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - Sophomore Ryan Clancy of Dominican College has been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and the Eastern College Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the period of Sept. 12-18. Samuel Oduro of Nyack has been named Rookie of the Week.

Clancy, a native of Walden, NY, posted six total points (two goals, two assists) to help lead the Chargers to a 3-0 week, including two conference victories against Felician and Wilmington. He knocked in the game-winning goal against Wilmington on Saturday and assisted on the game-winning tally against Felician.

Clancy's older brother, senior Kyle, was named CACC Player of the Week on Sept. 6.
