HODZIC NAMED ECAC ALL-STAR

Orangeburg, NY (3/30/11) Dominican College men's basketball player, Almin Hodzic, has been named to the 2010-2011 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men's Basketball All-Star First Team as was announced by the ECAC yesterday.

Orangeburg, NY (3/30/11)  Dominican College men's basketball player, Almin Hodzic, has been named to the 2010-2011 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men's Basketball All-Star First Team as was announced by the ECAC yesterday.

Previously, Hodzic was named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First Team and to the to the 2010-11 Division II Daktronics Men's Basketball East All-Region Team.

Hodzic, a native of Budd Lake, NJ, had a breakout senior season and went from All-CACC honorable mention in 2009-10 to first team status this year. He led Dominican to the third seed in the North Division in the CACC Tournament behind averages of 14.8 points per-game, 8.9 rebounds, 3.17 blocks and 56-percent shooting from the field. He ranked 11th in the conference in scoring, third in rebounds and field-goal percentage and second in blocks.
