GOLF FINISHES SECOND AT SAINT ROSE FALL SHOOTOUT

Guilderland, N.Y. (10/8/16)  The Dominican College golf team took five strokes off their team score in round two today to finish with a 611 total score and second place finish at the Saint Rose Fall Shootout played at the Pinehaven Country Club.

Following a first round team score of 308, Dominican bounced back and had a team total of 303 this afternoon to jump two spots to second place in the team standins.

Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) and Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) tied for third place with a final total score of 150.  Both shot better today as Stenner was four strokes ahead of yesterday's total and Lee was two strokes ahead of yesterday's score.

Jayce Robinson (Sparks, Nevada) tied for 11th place with a two-day total of 152, while Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) finished 17th place with a 155 total.

Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md) had a two-day total of 159 to tie for 30th place, while Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) finished with a 162 total score to tie for 37th place.

The Chargers will complete their fall portion of the 2016-2017 season at the Le Moyne Fall Preview this coming Sunday and Monday.
