Keene, N.H. (9/12/16) The Dominican College men's golf team finished in third place at the FPU Invitational, host by Franklin Pierce University, at the Bretwood Golf Course.
As a team the Chargers compiled a two-day score of 581, just five strokes above par. DC had a day one score of 292 and followed with a 289 on the final day.
St. Thomas Aquinas College took the top spot with a team score 552, while Southern New Hampshire University finished in second with a 574 team score.
Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) had the high finish of seventh place with a total score of 141 (68, 73).
Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) took 10th place overall with rounds of 75 and 71 for a total score of 146. Teammate Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) finished in a tie for 11th place with a score of 147 (74, 73).
Freshman Jayce Robinson (Sparks, Nevada) also tied for 11th place with rounds of 75 and 72 for the 147 total score.
Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) took 43rd place with rounds of 81 and 74 for a two-day total of 155.
Dominican returns to action on September 19th at the Quechee DII Challenge.
