PROKOP HEADED TO EAST/ATLANTIC REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/26/13) Dominican College golfer, Keith Prokop, has been selected by the NCAA Division II National Golf Committee to compete in the 2013 East/Atlantic Regional Championship to be held May 5-8th at Oglebay Golf Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia .

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/26/13)  Dominican College golfer, Keith Prokop, has been selected by the NCAA Division II National Golf Committee to compete in the 2013 East/Atlantic Regional Championship to be held May 5-8th at Oglebay Golf Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia .

Prokop was one of thee individual selections to compete in the regional championship, along with 10 teams from the region. 

This is his first regional tournament appearance and it will alllow him the opportunity to qualify for the NCAA National Golf Championship.

Prokop, a junior from Ramsey, N.J., is currently ranked as the #2 individual player in the NCAA East Region.  He completed his best season at Dominican finishing as the team's leading scorer and establishing a team record by posting scores in the 70's for all 20 of his regular season tournament rounds.  He was also recently named to the 2013 All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Team.
