CHARGERS FINISH 12TH AT 9TH ANNUAL PETER KING MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/8/13) The Dominican College men's golf team finished in 12th place at the 9th Annual Peter King Memorial Golf Tournament played at the Long Island National Golf Course and hosted by Dowling College this past weekend. The team compiled a combined score of 654 after rounds of 322 and 332 in the 12th place finish.

The team compiled a combined score of 654 after rounds of 322 and 332 in the 12th place finish.
Bentley University and University of Massachusetts-Lowell tied for first place with a 600 combined score, while Roberts Wesleyan (605), Damen College (616) and Goldey-Beacom College (617) rounded out the top five.
Junior Keith Prokop (Ramsey, N.J.) was the top finisher for Dominican as he tied for ninth place with rounds of 77 and 75 for a 152 combined score.
Senior Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, N.J.) tied for 38th place with a combined score of 159 (78, 81), while Anthony Schifano (Ramsey, N.J.) took 55th place with a combined 166 (78, 88).
Rookie Brian McGuigan (Hawthorne, N.J.) rounded out the scoring with a 177 score (89. 88) to finish in 62nd place.
Dominican will compete at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Championships which will start tomorrow.
