GOLF FINISHES DAY ONE OF GOLDEY-BEACOM COLLEGE SPRING INVITATIONAL IN TWELFTH PLACE

Orangeburg, NY (3/30/09)  The Dominican College golf team finished day one of the Goldey-Beacom College Spring Invitational in twelfth place out of 16 teams.

The Chargers shot a team total of 336 today to fall behind host Goldey-Beacom College (315), Adelphi University (316), Indiana University of Pennslyvania (318), Millersville University (318), Southern New Hampshire University (319), American International College (328), Wilmington University (328), UMASS-Lowell (330), Nyack College (330), Dowling College (332) and Felician College (335).

Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) shot an 81 today to be in a nine-way tie for 24th place.  Corey Fitzgerald (Sherburne, NY) shot an 82 to finish in a four-way tie for 33rd place, while senior AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) is in a six-way tie for 46th place with a round of 84.  James Reppert, Jr (Joppatowne, MD) shot an 89 to be in a four-way tie for 66th place.

Dominican returns to the course tomorrow for the final day of the Goldey-Beacom College Spring Invitational.
