MACKEY RECEIVES HONORABLE MENTION HONORS ON PING ALL-AMERICAN TEAM

Orangeburg, NY (5/28/08) Dominican College golfer, Brian Mackey, has received honorable mention honors for the 2008 Division II PING All-American Team which was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America last week.

MACKEY RECEIVES HONORABLE MENTION HONORS ON PING ALL-AMERICAN TEAM

Orangeburg, NY (5/28/08)  Dominican College golfer, Brian Mackey, has received honorable mention honors for the 2008 Division II PING All-American Team which was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America last week.

Mackey, a senior from Chestnut Ridge, NY, most recently finished in a tie for 32nd place at the NCAA Division II Championships held at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, TX.  He won the NCAA Division II Northeast/East Super Regional in a stunning fashion after sinking a 75-foot put to force a  playoff hole which he eventually one to advance to the Championships.

A two year captain for the Chargers, Mackey was named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Team for four years and earned PING All-Region Northeast Team honors for the third consecutive year this season.
