Bio

Coach Fotino enters his fourth year on the Charger staff.  Prior to this season he was an assistant at Lehman College in Bronx New York.  Fotino spent his college career as a player at SUNY Orange in Middletown New York and John Jay College of Criminal Justice. 

Fotino joins the staff with a wealth of experience.  His baseball experience began in 1992 when he spent two years as the Director of Baseball Operations and an instructor at the Frozen Ropes Baseball Training Center.  In 1993 he began a four-year stint as a scout in the Atlanta Braves organization and was an assistant coach and hitting instructor with the Empire State Games in 1994.  Fotino has also spent 3 years as an assistant at the high school level, coaching baseball at Warwick Valley High School.

Fotino is retired from the New York City Police Department.  He resides in Warwick, NY with his wife and four kids; Andrew, Nick, Joey and Sophia.
