Pomona, N.Y. (3/31/14)  The Dominican College baseball team fell in non-conference action to host, Nyack College, 3-2, this evening in a game played at Provident Bank Park.

With the loss, Dominican falls to 6-9 on the season.

The Chargers took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning as Leonardo Bravo (Bronx, N.Y.) singled home Tyler Clark (Cheshire, Conn.) with two outs.

Nyack came back with two runs in the sixth and added one in the seventh for the 3-1 advantage.

DC got a run back in the eighth as Carlos Lopez (Miami, Fla.) scored on a passed ball for the 3-2 final score.

Jordan Paszek (Sussex, Wis.) suffered the loss (0-2) in 5 2/3 innings of work, allowing two runs on nine hits and four strikeouts.

Corey Pic (Montvale, N.J.) came in for the remaining 2 1/3 innings, allowing one run on two hits and three strikeouts.

Right fielder Riley Strickland (Boca Raton, Fla.) went 3-4 , while Bravo collected to hits.

Dominican is set to take on St. Thomas Aquinas College tomorrow night at 7pm
