Pomona, N.Y. (4/5/13)  The Dominican College baseball squad had a four-game winning streak snapped by Nyack College this evening as they fell 7-4 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action played at Provident Bank Park.  With the loss, the Chargers are now 10-9 overall and 6-2 in conference action.

The Warriors struck first with two runs in the first stanza and added three more in the third for a 5-0 lead.  DC got on the board in the fourth on the RBI double from senior first basemen Andrew Camardella (Pelham, N.Y.) to make the score 5-1.  NC regained the five run lead with a run in the fifth.

Dominican added two runs in the seventh on a Warrior error and an RBI single from Nick Delgado (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) to cut the deficit to 6-3.

Trailing 7-3 going into the top half of the ninth inning, Delgado picked up his second RBI of the day on a two out single to make the score 7-4, but that would be the only run of the inning.
