BASEBALL LOSES TO MOLLOY COLLEGE
Rockville Centre, NY (4/2/08) The visiting Chargers of Dominican College dropped a non-conference game to the Molloy College Lions, 4-0 this afternoon at Lions Field.
Molloy took a 1-0 lead after one inning after a DC error allowed a runner one who later scored on an RBI infield single.
The Lions added two runs in the fourth on a RBI triple and another infield RBI single and added an unearned run in the fifth for the final 4-0 victory.
Center fielder Dan Robinson (Massapequa, NY) led the Chargers with two hits. Freshman DJ Stinsman (Egg Harbor Township, NJ) took the loss in 4 2/3 innings of work, allowing four runs (two earned) on six hits and eight Lion strikeouts.
With the loss, the Chargers fall to 9-14 overall.
Dominican is back in action tomorrow afternoon when they host
Caldwell College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC)
